Platforms
Moment runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Vision Pro. If you're deciding which of your devices to use it on, this page lists what is the same on all of them, then what each one adds.
On every device
- Unlimited sessions. You can set a session from 5 to 90 minutes, as often as you like, for free.
- Breaks. Breaks help you build rest into your work, with a short break after each session and a long one after several. They are free on every device.
- Reflection. Moment helps you reflect on each session. When it ends, you can mark how it felt on a scale from scattered to flowing.
- Themes. There are four themes, Ocean, Air, Sand and Forest, each with its own colours. The ambient sounds play on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Vision Pro.
- iCloud sync. Your sessions sync between your devices, so Stats shows every session wherever you finished it.
- 15 languages. Moment is in English and 14 other languages on every device.
iPhone and iPad
iOS 18 or iPadOS 18, or newer
- App blocking (Moment Pro). Moment uses Screen Time so the apps, categories and websites you choose won't open during a session.
- Live Activities. The time left stays on the Lock Screen while a session runs, and in the Dynamic Island on iPhone models that have one.
- Widgets. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show the time left while a session runs.
- Siri, Shortcuts and Focus filters. Start a session by voice or from a shortcut, and give each Focus its own theme, session length or muted sounds.
- Apple Health. Your focus time is saved as Mindful Minutes and how each session felt as State of Mind, with the rest of your health data.
Mac
macOS 15 or newer
- Menu bar icon. It fills as a session runs and can show the time left beside it.
- Popover or window. Moment opens under the icon, or as a window you can resize, with an icon in the Dock.
- Floating timer (Moment Pro). The time left and your intention stay in a small window above your other apps.
- Widgets and Shortcuts. Moment has widgets for your desktop, and it works with Siri, Shortcuts and Focus filters.
Apple Watch
watchOS 11 or newer, with Moment on your iPhone
- Digital Crown. Turn it to set the session length, then start the session on your wrist.
- Always On. The time left stays on screen while your wrist is down.
- Complication and Smart Stack. Open the timer from a watch face. While a session runs, Moment appears in the Smart Stack.
- iPhone sync. A session started on your iPhone or your Apple Watch runs on both at once.
- Apple Health. Sessions you run on your Apple Watch are saved to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes, and how each felt as State of Mind.
Vision Pro
visionOS 26 or newer
- Built for visionOS. Moment on Vision Pro is a spatial computing app, not the iPad app running there. The window stays where you place it in your room, with its tabs at its side.
- Floating timer (Moment Pro). You can shrink the window to a floating timer that shows the time left and your intention while a session runs, and its controls appear when you look at it.
- Widgets. Place a widget in your room to see your session without opening the window.
