Pomodoro timer for Notion
Moment's timer runs inside a Notion page as an embed, with the dial, an intention, sound and breaks, in the theme you choose. The timer is free and needs no account.
Adding the timer to a page
- Copy the link for the theme you want:
- Ocean:
https://momenttimer.com/?embed&theme=ocean - Air:
https://momenttimer.com/?embed&theme=air - Sand:
https://momenttimer.com/?embed&theme=sand - Forest:
https://momenttimer.com/?embed&theme=forest
- Ocean:
- In Notion, paste the link where you want the timer and choose Create embed.
- Drag the embed's bottom edge down until the whole timer is visible, about 650 pixels tall. Notion keeps the size.
Example embed
This embed uses the Ocean link from step 1.
Inside Notion
The end-of-session sound plays once you have pressed Start focusing in the embed. Browsers do not play sound from a page before the first tap or click on it.
Sound and break settings are stored for Notion, separately from momenttimer.com. In Safari they are kept until you quit.
In an embed, Moment cannot show notifications or keep the screen awake. The Moment app does both.
Any site that accepts embeds works in the same way.
